After a long diplomatic career, Carma has led high-impact projects in education, business and social enterprise. Carma has also forged enduring partnerships in civil society, government and in diverse business sectors. Known for her collaborative leadership style and high emotional intelligence, she drives impact through strong stakeholder relations. Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, she maintains a strong focus on both community and staff wellbeing. A committed internationalist, Carma holds a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Chinese and German and has been honoured twice by Her (late) Majesty The Queen for her contribution to UK-China relations. Carma is proud of her roots, and volunteers to promote Scotland as a "Global Scott".
