“Getting to share your whole life with people from all over the world has been a unique opportunity, which so far has given me an insight into both how different and alike we are, despite growing up in different parts of the world.

Because we are such a diverse student body, we bring with us experiences, which we can share through our everyday life at RCN. The extracurricular activities allow us to pursue our interests with people who share those interests or are curious to explore all the new opportunities that we are exposed to. This has taught me not to be afraid to reach out for new opportunities and challenge myself. We all came to UWC with different goals for the future, these often based on the culture in our respective countries. However, by opening my eyes to this diverse group of students, it has given me an opportunity to reflect on what really matters to me as an individual and to set different goals for myself both at RCN and in the future.”
