Headteacher of UWC Mostar
Mark Feltham joined UWC in Mostar after teaching for over 30 years in London. He started his career in the state sector, working in three inner-city comprehensive schools, before joining the distinguished Westminster School. A teacher of mathematics and philosophy, he has led pastoral, academic and extra-curricular teams. At Westminster he had the pivotal role of Master of the Queen's Scholars, overseeing their welfare and progress. Over his tenure, the first girls were appointed to Queen's Scholarships, a significant and welcome change to an institution as old as the Stari Most.
Mark is particularly excited to be working in a UWC as it combines the strands of outreach for the less privileged with high-end academic education in a multicultural setting. With the children all now grown-up, Mark and his wife Su Yin were looking for a new adventure - and found one!
