Teacher of History and Global Politics, Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong
Paul joined Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong in 2014 as a History and Global Politics teacher. Prior to joining the college he enjoyed teaching and leadership roles in the Gaza Strip, Dubai and South Korea. One of the highlights of being part of the UWC community is the joy he and his wife experience watching their young children, Emmett and Naomi, interact with caring and passionate teenagers from around the world. Paul continues to lead workshops and carry out site visits for the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) but enjoys nothing more professionally than the time he shares with students as a teacher, tutor, coach and facilitator for the Global Issues Forum. As a good Canadian, you can often find him on the weekend playing baseball or hockey at King’s Park.
“My time at Li Po Chun UWC has been the most rewarding of my professional career. As a teacher it is so rare to have the opportunity to work in a school so focused on its mission and with students who are so inspirational in their talents."
