World at Play
2 June 2017
World at Play aims to enrich lives through sport and developmental play by training volunteers in sports and play leadership. The volunteers then travel as a team of nine on a ten-week expedition across Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo, Greece and Turkey, working with children in marginalised communities and refugee camps.
The programme is designed to have a long term and sustainable impact on the children who take part, on their communities and on the volunteers. World at Play was established by a group of UWC Atlantic college students in 2003 and is now a small charity, based in Wales.
