GoMakeADifference is a grant scheme that allows current students across all UWC schools and colleges to run projects that put the UWC ideals into practice.

UWC students can apply for awards of £1,000 for projects that help the lives of others. The grants also help students start their journey of making a difference to global issues which they feel passionate about somewhere in the world.

GoMakeADifference was established in 2001 by Jill Longson (UWC Atlantic College 1981) and Colin Habgood. In 15 years, grants have been awarded to over 50 projects in 40 countries across 5 regions. Over 500 UWC graduates have delivered these projects touching thousands of lives. In 2016, GoMakeADifference awarded 20 grants of £1,000 per grant.
