Its purpose is to providea social and professional network to the members of the UWC community in and around New York. Through the development and organization of social and educational activities, as well as offering support to all members of the UWC community.  UWC NYC has been an active group since 2013 and its previous events and activities have included a panel debate on the role of education in refugee crises, a community service project with Hope Community as well as summer and winter season holiday parties.
