It's time to talk about UWC Day - nearly a whole UWC Week! - in Dilijan, Armenia.

On September 20th the students and staff of UWC Dilijan will participate in the Global Climate Strike with a march towards Dilijan’s City Hall. The goal of this peaceful initiative is to raise awareness about climate change issues, convince the public that something needs to be done, and then discuss with the mayor of the town possible steps to be taken against the current environmental problems.

On the same day, UWCD will host Ex-Unicefers. UNICEF is the world’s leading advocate for children and these former members of the organization will meet UWC Dilijan students, engaging in activities and discussions with "The Climate Change" as the main topic.

September 21st will be devoted to tree planting and cleaning activities in the Dilijan park and will finish with a screening of "Our planet" in the evening.

And, finally, on September 22 the first International Environmental Forum will be held at UWC Dilijan campus in order to add voices within Armenia to the worldwide efforts of demanding action against the current climate emergency. If you wish to participate please visit out event page.
