Mini-UWC is a 4-day online summer program organized by All Students for Action Program (ASAP). ASAP is an initiative of UWC Changshu China students, that aims to develop and spread the idea of “All for Action” and holds the principle of “learning, practising and changing”. The program normally takes place on the UWCCSC campus, with counselors from both CSC and other UWC campuses. This year it has been forced to move online due to COVID-19 restrictions.

During the course, campers learn the skills required to initiate their own social service projects, which they are encouraged to bring back to their local communities when the short course ends. Daily theme activities encourage the campers to bond and have fun while reflecting on certain UWC values. In the offline version of the course, campers and counselors go on a field trip and explore local cultures. 

The theme for Mini-UWC 2021 is "From NOW On", meaning that after a bumpy year, UWCers should look forward to a better future by taking actions as change makers. In this program, we will look to the future while reflecting on the past, seek personal improvement and contribute to world peace and sustainable development.
