Admissions and Alumni Office Intern

UWC Dilijan is looking for an intern to join the Admissions and Alumni Office. The intern is
expected to assist in day-to-day activities of the Office and reports to the Alumni Relations

The ideal candidate is a UWC alumna/alumnus sharing the UWC vision and mission with
strong interest in communication and public relations, events management, new products and
initiatives development and marketing. The intern should be detail-oriented, well-organized,
creative, and possesses professional work ethic.

Intern will be provided with a monthly stipend of 200 USD net, off-campus accommodation,
food (3 times per day meals plan), and transportation to/from campus.


The Admissions and Alumni Office intern should be prepared for the following types of work:

  • Work as part of the UWC Dilijan Admissions and Alumni Office and have substantial interaction with the UWC Dilijan community – faculty, staff, students, alumni
  • Support Admissions office on day-to-day tasks
  • Assist with creating a variety of content including social media posts, emails and newsletters
  • Help maintain contact with the alumni from different years.
  • Help plan alumni gatherings / reunions
  • Manage UWCD account on the UWC Hub
  • Assist with alumni engagement activities
  • Be present in college during the working hours: 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday
  • In case needed, this position may require assisting other UWCD Offices with various projects and events


  • Exceptional communication skills to communicate with many people on multiple projects internally and externally
  • Bilingual in English and one other language
  • Goal-oriented, ambitious, honest individuals sought with strong work ethic, dedication and strong desire to be part of the UWC Dilijan community
  • Must be able to multi-task and troubleshoot
  • Good time management is skills are a must
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to work individually and in a team
  • Ability to successfully handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

Experience with the following programs and platforms is highly desired:

  • Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Forms
  • Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
