Compliance and risk management are key areas of the College that we need to strengthen.
Focussing on developing, implementing and continuously reviewing the College’s Risk
Management Strategy and Framework and all associated tools and processes you will
ensure that these are appropriately communicated and embedded across the College.
Your significant experience in this area will enable you to confidently lead on developing,
reviewing and managing the College’s Policy Framework and associated processes and
procedures to ensure they are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, regularly
reviewed and communicated in a way which is clear, concise and jargon free.
 
Setting up and leading the Risk Management Group, you will support the creation of a
continuous improvement culture working College wide ensuring that risk and compliance
practices are improved, gaps in risk management practice are identified and appropriately
mitigated. You will provide regular high level management information and technical
compliance reports to the Leadership Team and Board of Governors, identifying risks and
areas of non-compliance so that they can be managed.
 
Your project management skills will enable you to take responsibility for key risk projects
as required and you will also review policies and procedures and produce new ones where
there are gaps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to interpret
and communicate complex technical information concisely and clearly.
