Currently, the following positions will be available from August 2024:

  1. Teacher of IBDP Economics, full-time position on fixed term.
  2. Teacher of IBDP Social and Cultural Anthropology, part-time position (75%) on fixed term(temporary replacement until July 2025).
  3. House-parent, full-time position on fixed term (temporary replacement until July 2025).
  4. House-parent, part-time position (50%) on fixed term, one or more employees will be needed which should be confirmed by March, 31st.

Minimum qualifications:

  • University degree in the subject or relevant fields (min 4-year degree/240 ECTS).
  • Proven fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use and leverage technology for the teaching and learning process.

Qualifications that would be an advantage:

  • Previous teaching experience, ideally in the IB Diploma Program.
  • Previous experience working at United World Colleges or IB schools.
  • Professional teaching qualifications.
  • Readiness and qualifications to teach ToK in addition to the subject advertised.
  • Ability of meeting all IB requirements and deadlines.

  • Ability to develop good relationships within a team and work positively and constructively with others.
  • Willingness to engage students beyond regular classroom hours.
  • Willingness to assume pastoral care duties as house parent or residential mentor.
  • Ability and willingness to actively participate in the school’s Co-Curricular program.

Main responsibilities and job duties:

  • To prepare and perform teaching work with professionalism, and apply a high level of pedagogical and methodological skills.
  • To plan and deliver the prescribed curriculum for the subject taught.
  • To actively participate in the improvement of the teaching process.
  • To constantly work on self-development and participate in professional development organized by the school.
  • To monitor the academic performance of the students and report on it according to the requirements of the College.
  • To perform residential duties when necessary.
  • To supervise and administrate at least one CAS activity.

Minimum qualifications:

  • University degree (min 4-year degree/240 ECTS) in Psychology or Pedagogy or any teaching field.
  • Proven fluency in English language.

Qualifications that would be an advantage:

  • Passed First Aid Course.
  • Previous relevant work experience (welfare and care for children).
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest in working with students ages 16-19.
  • International awareness: ability of making positive interactions in a multicultural environment.
  • Team work.
  • Organisational skills and ability for prioritisation of urgent tasks.

Main responsibilities and job duties:

  • Pastoral care of students in the residence.
  • Safety and welfare of the students in the residence.
  • Responsible for logistics of the residences: supplies, equipment.
  • Living in the residence (separate apartment provided).
