ISAK Summer School / Japan
Deferred Dates TBC
Youth from all over the world come to UWC ISAK Japan’s Summer School for a two-week camp celebrating the power of diversity. Students learn leadership, teamwork, design innovation, and mindfulness practices that help them on their problem-solving journey. Participants explore design methods in an active and experiential learning environment that is curated to facilitate cross-cultural communication. Participants return home after an intensive two weeks with the skills and attitudes needed to start taking action for the betterment of their community.
UWC ISAK Japan’s Summer School program has been running since 2010. In that time, the program has focused on teaching participants how to be positive changemakers in the world. We are constantly refining the courses offered to improve participants' experience. For 2020, we will take a project-based learning approach where faculty and counsellors take on a coaching role that supports participants as they work through their two weeks.
