Clare Flynn

Director of Advancement

Clare Flynn is the Director of Advancement at UWC International and as such, oversees the Philanthropy, Engagement and Communications functions at UWC International. 

Clare is an experienced development director, campaign manager and strategic consultant in not-for-profit and education development, fundraising and communications, having worked on large scale campaigns from £2 million to £2 billion at the University of Cambridge and INSEAD, among others.

Clare most recently served as Director of Development and External Relations at Wycombe Abbey, a leading boarding school in the UK. Prior to this, she led the major giving program at the Royal Academy of Engineering. Recently acting as co-facilitator on the ICGS Headways program for advancement professionals, Clare has held committee and advisory positions with the Institute of Fundraising and the Institute of Development Professionals in Education.
Clare completed her undergraduate degree in European Languages at the University of Durham and a Masters degree in Management at Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School, London. She speaks English, French and Italian and in her spare time enjoys classical music and exploring new cuisines, cities and cultures with her husband and two children.
