"…I am happy to say that I am also trying to be as effective as I can in 'living the mission' and giving back to UWC as soon as possible. I'm delighted that just today I found out that I'll be a volunteer at the UWCM Summer School in August. I've also recently become a volunteer at the Edinburgh Peace and Justice Centre and will be organising their 'Fly Kites Not Drones' event in March. My Syrian co-year and I also started a blog which we post articles on as regularly as possible about politics. And of course I'll be over for the TOK conference to give a speech which is very exciting. So I've got plenty to keep me busy and happy for the time being! I've also gotten extremely interested in pedagogy and teaching as a career..."
