UWC schools and colleges are located in 17 countries and follow one of two models: schools for students across a wide age range, providing students of all ages with the opportunity to gain a UWC education, and two-year pre-university colleges teaching the IB Diploma to students typically aged between 16 and 19 years.

Our national committees
UWC depends on the dedication and expertise of a network of volunteers to find and select many of our students.
These volunteer groups are called national committees and they operate in over 150 countries worldwide.
The UWC national committee system selects more than 1000 students each year from within their countries and territories to attend UWC schools, colleges and programmes.
