YES (Youth, Environment, and Sustainability), India

This 1-week programme takes place in a world biodiversity hotspot and focuses on environment and conservation issues in India. You will work with environment and sustainability NGOs, participating in field trips and projects that encourage you to engage with complex questions of development and conflict, globalisation and consumerism, culture and technology.

You will receive foundational knowledge, skills, and inspiration to explore the challenges around sustainability, leaving you equipped to make informed and sustainable choices and lead projects of change within your communities and beyond.

You will participate in:

  • Interactive discussions
  • Field trips
  • Role plays
  • Debates
  • And workshops conducted by experts in the field — activists, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, practitioners, and academics

At YES, you will learn from these experts alongside students from around the world, giving you valuable insight into how different cultures approach sustainable living.

At the end of the programme, you will be equipped to make informed and sustainable choices, enabling you to lead projects of change within your community and beyond.

Participant age requirement: 16-18 Years
