In 2013, Haggar Group signed an agreement with UWC to fund a two-year scholarship biennially for a high-performing student in Sudan, selected by UWC Sudan’s Selection Committee. This Scholarship is conditional based on UWC funding a South Sudanese student for every Sudanese student that the Haggar Group would fund.

In August 2018 Haggar welcomed their third UWC scholar Abrar who set for the two year International Baccalaureate program. Abrar lives by the motto “Don’t tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon”. After completing the two years IB, she is planning to study medicine.
