Residential UWC

Living on campus is a significant part of the UWC experience for many UWC students.

Through living as well as studying together, students learn about other cultures and develop an international appreciation. Teachers also live on campus and play an important role in pastoral care.

It is important for students to have an open mind, show respect for each other, be ready to cooperate and compromise with others and act with integrity and responsibility.

The nine UWC colleges which offer a two year pre-university IB diploma are fully residential. Simón Bolívar UWC of Agriculture is also fully residential.
The three UWC schools which offer the the IB Diploma within the context of a larger school have both day and residential students.
For more information on the residential aspect of UWC at a particular school or college, visit the college/school section.
