The Sino-Japan Youth Conference, organised by UWC students and graduates from the region in partnership with Li Po Chun UWC of Hong Kong, is a eight day programme  for secondary school students in China and Japan. It has taken place every year since 2009.

The goal of the conference is to increase intercultural understanding and mutual respect through cultural activities, discussions on Sino-Japanese relationship issues, and service activities conducted in Guangdong Province.

"Here at this conference, I can truly express myself. We can discuss our true opinions. I could never do that at school in Japan, and it feels amazing."

The next conference will take place from 4 - 11 August 2012 at Li Po Chun UWC of Hong Kong.
