International Summer School on Peace and Conflict Resolution
UWC in Mostar
Continuing its mission of contributing to the reconstruction of a post-conflict society, UWC in Mostar is organising its second International Summer School on Peace and Conflict Resolution from 18-24 June 2012. The seven days summer school covers topics on:
- Conflict Prevention, Resolution and Transformation
- Peacebuilding
- Gender and Conflict
- Transitional Justice
- Role of Youth and Children in Conflict and Peacebuilding
- Media and Conflict
- Arms Trade
The International Summer School on Peace and Conflict resolution is organised in cooperation with the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the Foundation Education in Action and gathers prominent international experts from the field. The summer school brings together UWC school and college students and high school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who learnt together through many interesting lectures, interactive workshops and fieldtrips.
Who can apply
Applications are open to all UWC students but only one student from each UWC school or college will be selected.

Students from other high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina can also apply. Please note that UWC Mostar covers all the costs during the summer school and travelling costs up to 500 Euros.
