The Global Intranet has a number of different areas that you can use and where you can find different information:
 
Groups:  A secure area allowing members to read and download  documents that will be useful for you For example, the latest College Term Dates and Costs,  the most recent version of the International Directory, etc.
 
Forums: Along with the General Forums you will also be able to post to forums and start threads on topics which are only accessible to members of the same user group, i.e. National Committee members, so you can use the forum to exchange thoughts and opinions. You can also create Forums within the National Committee Area, for example, a Forum that only National Committee members in a specific region or serving a specific role will see.
 
Directory: A comprehensive directory of UWC members with extensive search functions.
 
Profile: Contains all your user details and settings and any information that you want to make searchable for other members. This is also the data that the International Office will use when they are trying to contact you.
