My experience at Pearson College started a process of self-reflection that led me to work on citizen participation in environment and development decisions

 
Navroz Dubash (PC 84-86) currently works as an Associate Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi on issues of governance and development.  After graduating from Pearson College he gained a degree in Public Policy from Princeton and a MA and a PhD in Energy and Resources from the University of California.
 
Before returning to his native India Navroz worked at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC. He was involved in research on changing patterns of financial flows to developing countries and advocacy for attention to their environmental and social impacts.
 
He has also worked with local non-governmental organisations in India to strengthen citizen representation in the process of reforming public utilities and has volunteered as a tutor for disadvantaged children.
