Monwabisi Fandeso (WK 71-77) is Chairman and Vice President of Sales and Operations at Shell South Africa.  He is also a member of the Waterford KaMhlaba Governing Council, a major donor to the College and a Trustee of United World Colleges Trust of South Africa

 

He was previously Operations Director of SAB Miller Africa, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of beer and carbonated soft drinks. Other roles have included CEO of the Land and Agricultural Development Bank, a State-owned and privately funded development finance institution that accounts for over half the total agricultural financing in South Africa.

 

Monwabisi is a graduate of the Senior Executive Programme at Columbia Business School, and completed his MBA at the Wharton School, University of Philadelphia. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Aircraft and Pilots Association.
