Students are selected for United World Colleges on the basis of merit, regardless of their financial circumstances. 

 

To make this possible, scholarship funds are raised by Colleges and National Committees and from graduates, friends, foundations, non-governmental organisations, companies, individual benefactors and governments.

 

Graduates are an especially important source of financial support . The UWC movement takes particular pleasure in the contribution of its graduates as it is testimony to the value which they place on their own UWC experiences.
