How to apply
You should apply to UWC through the National Committee in the country in which you live. That Committee will be able to tell you which Colleges they have places for, as well as give information about the scholarships available and the eligibility requirements.

The Selection Process
The selection process varies from one National Committee to another to ensure that it is applicable and relevant to the local culture and education system.  The selection process will be looking for students who have the potential to benefit from a UWC experience. There will usually be a written application and some form of interview, but you may also take part in group activities and community service, an examination and perhaps even a weekend camp.

Languages at the Colleges
The teaching language of the Colleges is English, Spanish and English at UWC Costa Rica, and Spanish at Simón Bolívar UWC. Previous knowledge of the teaching language is not usually necessary.  The Colleges will offer support if you do not have previous language knowledge.
