Vineeth has more than 15 years of experience teaching Economics in various universities and international schools in Asia and Africa. Before joining UWC ISAK Japan he worked as Head of Humanities at British Nigerian Academy, Abuja, Nigeria. He also taught IB Economics at UWC Mahindra College (MUWCI), Pune, India for 3 years. His educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and a Masters degree in Development Economics from Calicut University. He believes that change is possible – through open and honest dialogue, courageous action and a sense of community. In addition to teaching and advisory, Vineeth is part of the Harmony for East Asian Relationships (HEAR) project and the UWC ISAK Japan Magic Club. He has initiated personalised learning spaces for learners, allowing the complete freedom of students to design their own learning, while at the same time helping them to reflect on their own strengths and weaknesses.
